Jesus Christ this thing is popular in Australia... at least, judging by how many contacts it's found just by searching by through my address books. I haven't even started searching for people!
The german equivalent, "StudiVZ", has not tempted me, but if it were able to tell me at least 50 of my friends use it within a minute of browsing it'd be a persuasive argument.
Probably too persuasive, actually. I don't think I have 50 friends in Germany yet!
